Scarlett Johansson is looking forward to being "whipped into shape" for her role in Iron Man II.
The Vicky Christina Barcelona, 24, star has just signed on as sexy super-villain Black Widow in the comic book sequel, and that means getting an iron-hard physique of her own.
A movie insider says, "A big part of the preparation for this movie is living up to the look of Black Widow.
"In the comics the character is almost impossibly fit and sexy but Scarlett is not daunted by that. She is getting a whole team of personal trainers and she's actually looking forward to being whipped into shape."
Iron Man II is scheduled for release on May 7, 2010. It also stars Robert Downey Jr.

Scarlett Johansson has been cast to play the Russian femme fatale Black Widow in Iron Man 2, joining a cast that includes Robert Downey Jr., Don Cheadle, Sam Rockwell, Samuel L. Jackson, and the just-announced Mickey Rourke, according to E! Online. EW.com first reported Johansson was approached for the role after Emily Blunt stepped aside because of her obligations to Gulliver's Travels, an adaptation of the classic tale toplined by Jack Black. Iron Man 2 is due in theaters May 7, 2010.

Scarlett Johansson has revealed why she changed her hair color - because she was "bored" one day.
The naturally-blond actress, 24, says she grew tired of her tresses and decided to go dark red because she was stuck at home with nothing to do.
"I was bored one day," Johansson explains. "It was raining and I was with a hairdresser friend and we just decided to color my hair. We experimented with a few shades until we got the right one. I like it.
